This is Chase and he’s the goodest boy! He is available for adoption, and he also needs a new foster starting in July!
Chase is about 2.5 years old and 78 lbs of love!
He does well with all people, kids and other dogs (we know he loves to play with dogs who are medium, large or XL, we have not seen him around small dogs). No cats for this big boy.
Chase is a mush, he loves to cuddle on the couch with you and snuggle his head in your lap.
He is very playful and loves playing with other dogs and with toys.
He needs a lot of exercise and loves runs, walks and hikes.
He does well on a leash and listens to commands, though he can pull if he gets excited!
Chase knows sit, give paw, and down. He’s a smart boy who wants to please his people.
He is house trained and crate trained.

This is a Oliver Twist, and his story is heartbreaking.
We were contacted by a vet office who said a woman came in asking them to euthanize her dog. They told her they needed to perform a wellness exam first, and she just pushed the dog towards them and walked out. When they followed her outside, she refused to take her dog back and sped off.
Poor Oliver Twist was left abandoned and confused.

The vet he is at is taking great care of him, but he needs a loving foster home. He is 13 years old and only 6.5 lbs! He just had a dental cleaning and extractions, and the vet learned he has advanced kidney disease, which at the moment is able to be managed through kidney food and a supplement.

We are told he’s a sweetie who loves to be on your lap or carried around in his doggy backpack. Because he can be cranky when quickly startled awake, a home without small children would be best for him.

Please let us know if you can show Oliver Twist that not all people are monsters, and be the love & support he needs and deserves at in this stage in his life ❤️🐾

Urgent! Gizmo needs our help! 🙏🏼💔

Gizmo is on her way right now to the ER from urgent care for an ultrasound. In her X-rays, the urgent care doctor found that her liver is extremely enlarged, and also found a mass on either her stomach or liver. We brought her in for X-rays this morning after consistent vomiting and diarrhea last night, as well as a bloated stomach.
The mass could be obstructing her gallbladder, causing the vomiting, but they can’t tell by the X-rays, which is why she needs to ultrasound.
We don’t know yet if the tumor is operable or not. All we know is we can’t give up on her and need to know all the information we can on how to help her.

Her urgent care bill was $608, and we know we’re looking at a couple thousand dollars at the emergency room for the ultrasound and possible overnight hospitalization.

We are in desperate need of donations to cover this ER visit and ultrasound, so we can know what the next steps for our little Gizmo are 💕 anything helps, and we are so appreciative!

Peppy needs a place to crash while his foster is out of town. He’s come so far with his training that we’d hate for him to have to go to boarding and regress.
Peppy needs an experienced dog person who can establish strict boundaries with him from the start, as he’ll want to do things his way. He is 22 lbs and 3 years old.
Peppy is housetrained.
No children for him.

Gizmo needs a temp (or long term) foster from 4/24-5/13🐶

Gizmo is a 24 lb, 2 year old cuddlebug! We think she’s a Frenchie/English/pit mix - she’s tiny!

Gizmo is super sweet and very playful - she will follow you around all day and loves nothing more than belly rubs, giving kisses and snuggling.

She is an active pup, so needs someone who can give her a lot of exercise and playtime. She will act up a bit if she doesn’t get enough exercise.
She is house trained if she has access to a yard. Between this and the amount she’ll want the ball thrown for her, she needs a place with a yard.

She’s a typical bully puppy - she is stubborn and will want things done her way. She needs someone either experienced with bully breeds or someone experienced with needing to be the dominant one in the home. Because of this, she should go to a home without kids (high school age okay).

She gets along with other dogs, and mainly just wants to play with them. She doesn’t like with other dogs are too in her face/space.

We will supply all food and supplies.

6 of our Coachella puppies were finally cleared to leave the vet! We are heartbroken to announce that we lost Blondie 💔 The vet said she was doing really well, and then passed suddenly and unexpectedly, and they think she may have had a blood clot 😢we’re so upset her short life was spent being sick and in a vet - no puppy deserves that. But she was loved and we did all we could for her, and we hope she knows that.

Here are Kasablanca and Aluna sleeping in typical puppy fashion on the way to their foster home.

Our vet bill totaled $3,966.95, not including a previous vet visit, and as you can imagine, it was not an expense we were prepared for, especially since we were told they were healthy puppies when we rescued them.
We have 4 other dogs who have surgeries coming up, so we’re left in a really tough place.

We are at the point where we are BEGGING for fosters for our Coachella festival puppies.
These poor puppies have had a very rough start to life, and they are finally feeling better! However, they are stuck in a tiny cage in a vet because they don’t have fosters 😢
The vet is eager for us to move them out, and they’re costing us hundreds of dollars a night to stay there, on top of their very expensive treatments and hospitalization.

They have finished treatment for their coccidia, and they are now all testing negative for parvo. The doctor says they can now go to homes with healthy, young, vaccinated dogs, though we still want to err on the side of caution and move them to foster homes without other dogs.

6 of the 7 puppies (Bad Bunny, Kasablanca, Blondie, Airrica, Aluna and Uncle Waffles) still need fosters. We are hoping 2-3 people can take in 2 or 3 puppies, though it’s helpful if anyone can also take in just 1 puppy.

We will supply all food, medical needs and supplies.

Please help these little pups experience love and happiness for the first time - something they haven’t felt yet in their young lives.
You will make a world of difference in these puppies lives!

Rio is around 7 years old and 9.5 lbs. He loves people, and wants nothing more than to sit in your lap and get cuddles.
He does start to get possessive of his person and space after a while, so he’ll need some boundaries established from the get go to avoid these possessive traits from coming out. Because he gets possessive, a home without children is best.
He’s been fine with other dogs.

We need
2 fosters to take 1 puppy
1 foster to take 2 puppies
1 foster to take 3 puppies

Not only have these unexpected medical bills been climbing and climbing, but now without fosters they are being boarded in a vet kennel that is rapidly increasing our vet bill.

They have been fully treated for coccidia, and have also been treated as if they all have parvo.
