Wanted to share a little Arya update! Her foster (

Wanted to share a little Arya update! Her foster (who found her forever home! @rockdogca) went to visit her after a month of Arya settling in to her new home. Arya is so loved, and loves her family! She’s loving her best life 🥰
Thank you again to everyone who has been rooting for Arya during her whole journey with us, for everyone who has donated towards her care, for everyone who walked her at boarding, who visited her at adoption fairs, who shared her story, and who shared her posts.

Go Arya!!!

Ghost needs your help!
We rescued Ghost from the same (shut down) backyard breeding operation that we’ve rescued other frenchies from recently. Because they’ve all been so neglected, they’ve all come out with medical issues that we are not aware of. Ghost was no different. His back paw pad was gashed open (probably from spending his life standing on metal wires from a crate with no tray), and part of his paw pad was dangling off. He was in pain trying to walk and we couldn’t let him deal with that pain and possible infection for another second.
We got him in for surgery the morning after we rescued him, despite not having the funds for it.
He is now healing up, needing a splint and bandage change every 3 days until he’s fully healed. His teeth were also in bad shape, so they were cleaned and he had some extractions while he was under anesthesia. He also had a hot spot which was clipped and cleaned, and had his ears cleaned which were packed with debris (we doubt they’ve ever been cleaned in his 5 years of life), and other less serious wounds on his paws cleaned out.
Our current bill for his surgery is $839.37, and each splint and bandage change will be $54 (we estimate he’ll need at least 5).
If you are willing and able to help with Ghost’s surgery costs, he (and we!) would be so grateful.

Ghost will be available for adoption once he’s healed!

Meet Sunny!
She’s a 6 month old (at the most) puppy who needs a foster by 9/27! Shes also available for adoption!!

Sunny was dumped on a construction site out in Jurupa Valley in 110° heat by a homeless man. The people working on the job site drove her to us in LA because they knew she wouldn’t survive in that heat. We named her Sunny.

Sunny is a very sweet puppy and has the MOST BEAUTIFUL eyes. She’s a gentle girl and is becoming very playful. She has been in 2 temporary foster homes so far and she’s very playful with their dogs. She absolutely loves to play! She also likes to play with toys, and of course she doesn’t know how big she is 😅
She’s currently 37 pounds, but she’s going to be a very big girl. Our best guess is she’s a Weimaraner/pit mix, or even some mastiff in there with the size of her paws.

She walks well on a leash, and she’s been doing really great with her house training. She’s also already learned sit and is learning her name. She’s a very fast learner.

Sunny loves people and other dogs, and is a big cuddle bug.

Please let us know if you are able to foster Sunny or if you are interested in adopting!

You’ve all been watching her journey for years, and we are so incredibly happy to announce that ARYA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
@foster2foreverhome rescued Arya back in February 2023, and we took her in shortly after. Arya had so many people advocating for her, yet we could never find a long term foster for her, and she spent her time with us in different short term foster homes (all who were WONDERFUL and never stopped advocating for Arya) and boarding.
We are so incredibly grateful for @foster2foreverhome never having given up on her, and for @hicarsondogs @brucebentley_bear and @rockdogca for their incredible work of taking her in, working with her, and posting her tirelessly until they ultimately found her forever home 🩷
Arya has been in her forever home in New Mexico now for a few weeks and they love her so much. She settled in right away and loves her backyard. Her previous foster (whose friends adopters her) will be visiting her this month and we are excited to get oodles of more pictures and videos of Arya living her best life with her forever family who loves her so much.
Rescue can be hard. Rescue can be draining (emotionally and financially), but these happy endings make it all worth it 💗
Thank you to everyone who never gave up on Arya with us, for those who have donated over the years to her boarding, those two short-term fostered her, those who visited her in boarding to walk her, and those who have shared her posts for all of these years. Rescue truly takes a team, and we’re so happy we could do right by Arya 💕

(We do still owe about $5000 in her boarding bills, if anyone feels inclined to donate! Venmo: @PacificPupsRescue)

Sweetie: a series.

This little model is ready for her forever home! Sweetie is a 3 year old French bulldog who was used for breeding in a backyard breeding operation.
She is so gentle, calm and friendly. You can tell she’s grateful for her new life where she’s allowed to lay on cozy beds and blankets and snuggle with people.

She’s good with all people and other dogs.
She loves affection, gives kisses, and is an easy, mellow girl. Shes 26 lbs.

We are treating her ear infections that were ignored for so long, and it’s possible she’ll have chronic ear infections (as a lot of bully breeds do), so that’s something her adopter will need to keep an eye on.

Sweetie will make a great addition to any household, she’s a true gem 💎 💕

Can anyone foster this sweet baby?
We got a plea from one our amazing volunteers who has been visiting this pup … this dog is living in an homeless encampment. We’re told he’s not very big - around 40 lbs or so stands 2 and 1/2 ft tall. He says this pup is very sweet and just wanders around the homeless encampment, not belonging to anyone.
He deserves a loving home, not a life trying to survive on the streets, especially if he gets into the wrong hands.

Please let us know if you can long term foster or know another rescue who can take him! We just want to make sure he’s off the streets!

FOSTER NEEDED‼️
We are trying to save this sweet girl named Bluey but we need a foster by Saturday in order to do so.
She is from the same backyard breeding situation that we rescued Ella, Lainey and Queenie from, and we now have to opportunity to rescue Bluey too, and we don’t want to leave her behind or lose the opportunity for her to finally know love.

Shes a 5 year old French Bulldog and we’re told she’s incredibly sweet. She is not house trained. She seems fine with the other dogs that she lives with.

Can anyone foster Bluey? She’s ready to live her best life and not be used for breeding anymore 💔
Even if you can only temp foster, that is helpful!

Rescue Spotlight!

Meet Karo, one of our longest residents. Little Karo has been with us almost 3 years!! She’s 14 years old now and 11 lbs (she’s a tiny, but chunky girl 😜)
As you can see, Karo loves her foster and once anyone takes the time to get to know her, she loves them too! She takes a bit to adjust to new people and can be reactive at first. But with patience, she lets her guard down.
Shes a smart girl and learns new rules quickly. She is fine with other dogs and really loves some dogs in particular, though prefers to be the one to initiate the friendship.
She’s house trained, sleeps well at night, loooves to play with her toys, and enjoys sitting on your lap during car rides 😄

Let us know if you’re interested in giving this senior girl the best golden years she could ask for 🥰

Look how amazing Haaland is doing! Named after @er

Look how amazing Haaland is doing! Named after @erling (since they are both champions in our eyes), Haaland was found living in a pile of trash at a job site (scroll for his pre-glam photos). The workers there said they’d seen him living in the trash for weeks, but it was clear Haaland had been on the streets for at least a year. He had a microchip, and the owners on that chip didn’t want him back. Their loss, as he’s the sweetest, cutest boy (just like @erling 😅).
Haaland loves playing with his foster brother, and we’re trying to pack on the pounds - he’s only 7 lbs and a very pick eater! 😅
He’s great with kids, people and other dogs. He’s skiddish at first, and understandably so after living on the streets for God knows how long, but is very sweet, loves giving kisses, loves affection and loves to play!!!
ideally, he’d go to a home with another playful dog.
Haaland is about 5 years old.

UPDATE: Phil’s owner was able to work something ou

UPDATE: Phil’s owner was able to work something out for now with the management company who was kicking him out. We don’t know if they’ll accept him long term, but she’s allowed to keep him for now.

Do you guys remember Phil? Well he’s coming back to us and he needs a foster!
Poor guy is having the worst luck 😪 this is the 2nd time he is being returned to us, and it’s no fault of his own.
He is now 9 years old. He had anxiety in the past and were told it’s more under control now, but we’re sure he’ll have some when he needs to move from his home again 💔 he needs a place where he can hang out for a while to decompress. We don’t want him bouncing around any more than he has to.
We’re also being told he needs to have his eye removed, so we will be getting that checked out once he’s back in our care.
We have someone who can take him temporarily until July 30, but he’ll need a place to go after that.
No kids for him, and he needs more of a calm/not busy home environment as he takes some time to warm up to people he doesn’t know.
Can anyone open their heart and home to Phil? 🥺 🙏🏼

Meet London! He’s the sweeeeetest boy. London loves people - he loves to snuggle, follow you around and just spend time with you. He thinks he’s a lap dog 😂 London loves kids and other dogs of all sizes. He loves toys and playing! He’s about 3 years old. He’s a low rider/short guy, and his 61 lbs are from being stocky.
London is house trained. He pulls on the leash but we are working on it!
London does have environmental allergies that we are figuring out (as most bullies do), so needs someone who can adapt to his allergies.

London would fit in easily into almost any home. Please let us know if you’re interested in this big teddy bear!

Meet London! He’s an adorable smoosh! This friendly boy wants nothing more than to hang out with his people. He likes to sit with you, snuggle with you, get his belly scratched, and will set his giant head in your lap for pets.
He’s good with people, and he’s been good with the kids he’s met.
He has met a few other large dogs and has done well with them. We haven’t introduced him to smaller dogs yet.
He loves stuffie toys, and is a playful, happy boy. He’s short, but he’s 60 lbs bc he’s thick. We think he’s about 3 years old.

He will be at our adoption fair on Saturday, he’ll make your day!

We’re so upset we couldn’t find a long term foster for him. If ANYONE has thought about fostering, this is the time. Please help us save the life of a sweet puppy who doesn’t deserve what’s happening to him.
The 2nd photo is a letter his boarding facility wrote to give to the shelter when his surrendering owner drops him off 💔
Please, please help us save Bruno’s life 😭

This is Sandy and she’s one of our newest pack members! Sandy is available for adoption 🤗

She’s a 1 year old, 19 lbs pug/chi/min pin (?) looking mix. She’s sooo sweet and gentle. She is very shy at first but eventually comes out of her shell.
She is very nervous around men, so they need to approach her slowly.
Sandy is good with kids and women (and men once she warms up, but still is pretty shy around them).
She is house trained, curious, and walks well on leash. She likes other dogs.

sandi will be at our adoption fair on June 20, but you can also meet her before then by filling out an application!
