Miss Lydia is a special pup who will instantly grab your heart. Shes about 8 years old and blind.

When we first rescued her she was severely emaciated, and undiagnosed diabetes. She has remained one of the sweetest and most grateful dogs through it all.

She now gets 2 insulin injections a day (easy to give) and shes been doing great!

She also gets 2 eye drops daily for dry eye, and needs to be on low fat food.

Lydia is house trained, and if you have a yard, she’ll walk right outside when she has to go. If she has to go and doesn’t have access to outdoors, she will use pee pads.

Lydia loves walks and does well on a leash – she trusts her people to lead her in the right direction!

Her favorite activities include laying on the couch with you, snuggling in bed with you, and getting belly rubs.

She does well with other dogs and cats, though she prefers animals who will give her space.
