Sweetie: a series. This little model is ready for Sweetie: a series. This little model is ready for her forever home! Sweetie is a 3 year old French bulldog who was used for breeding in a backyard breeding operation. She is so gentle, calm and friendly. You can tell she’s grateful for her new life where she’s allowed to lay on cozy beds and blankets and snuggle with people. She’s good with all people and other dogs. She loves affection, gives kisses, and is an easy, mellow girl. Shes 26 lbs. We are treating her ear infections that were ignored for so long, and it’s possible she’ll have chronic ear infections (as a lot of bully breeds do), so that’s something her adopter will need to keep an eye on. Can anyone foster this sweet baby? We got a plea f Can anyone foster this sweet baby? We got a plea from one our amazing volunteers who has been visiting this pup … this dog is living in an homeless encampment. We’re told he’s not very big - around 40 lbs or so stands 2 and 1/2 ft tall. He says this pup is very sweet and just wanders around the homeless encampment, not belonging to anyone. He deserves a loving home, not a life trying to survive on the streets, especially if he gets into the wrong hands. Please let us know if you can long term foster or know another rescue who can take him! We just want to make sure he’s off the streets!

She is from the same backyard breeding situation that we rescued Ella, Lainey and Queenie from, and we now have to opportunity to rescue Bluey too, and we don’t want to leave her behind or lose the opportunity for her to finally know love. Rescue Spotlight! Meet Karo, one of our longest r Rescue Spotlight! Meet Karo, one of our longest residents. Little Karo has been with us almost 3 years!! She’s 14 years old now and 11 lbs (she’s a tiny, but chunky girl 😜) As you can see, Karo loves her foster and once anyone takes the time to get to know her, she loves them too! She takes a bit to adjust to new people and can be reactive at first. But with patience, she lets her guard down. Shes a smart girl and learns new rules quickly. She is fine with other dogs and really loves some dogs in particular, though prefers to be the one to initiate the friendship. She’s house trained, sleeps well at night, loooves to play with her toys, and enjoys sitting on your lap during car rides 😄 Let us know if you’re interested in giving this senior girl the best golden years she could ask for 🥰 #adoptdontshop❤️ #adoptasenior
Look how amazing Haaland is doing! Named after @er Look how amazing Haaland is doing! Named after @erling (since they are both champions in our eyes), Haaland was found living in a pile of trash at a job site (scroll for his pre-glam photos). The workers there said they’d seen him living in the trash for weeks, but it was clear Haaland had been on the streets for at least a year. He had a microchip, and the owners on that chip didn’t want him back. Their loss, as he’s the sweetest, cutest boy (just like @erling 😅). Haaland loves playing with his foster brother, and we’re trying to pack on the pounds - he’s only 7 lbs and a very pick eater! 😅 He’s great with kids, people and other dogs. He’s skiddish at first, and understandably so after living on the streets for God knows how long, but is very sweet, loves giving kisses, loves affection and loves to play!!! ideally, he’d go to a home with another playful dog. UPDATE: Phil’s owner was able to work something ou UPDATE: Phil’s owner was able to work something out for now with the management company who was kicking him out. We don’t know if they’ll accept him long term, but she’s allowed to keep him for now. Do you guys remember Phil? Well he’s coming back to us and he needs a foster! Poor guy is having the worst luck 😪 this is the 2nd time he is being returned to us, and it’s no fault of his own. He is now 9 years old. He had anxiety in the past and were told it’s more under control now, but we’re sure he’ll have some when he needs to move from his home again 💔 he needs a place where he can hang out for a while to decompress. We don’t want him bouncing around any more than he has to. We’re also being told he needs to have his eye removed, so we will be getting that checked out once he’s back in our care. We have someone who can take him temporarily until July 30, but he’ll need a place to go after that. No kids for him, and he needs more of a calm/not busy home environment as he takes some time to warm up to people he doesn’t know. He thinks he’s a lap dog 😂 London loves kids and other dogs of all sizes. He loves toys and playing! He’s about 3 years old. He’s a low rider/short guy, and his 61 lbs are from being stocky. London is house trained. He pulls on the leash but we are working on it! London does have environmental allergies that we are figuring out (as most bullies do), so needs someone who can adapt to his allergies. London would fit in easily into almost any home. Meet London! He’s an adorable smoosh! This friendl Meet London! He’s an adorable smoosh! This friendly boy wants nothing more than to hang out with his people. He likes to sit with you, snuggle with you, get his belly scratched, and will set his giant head in your lap for pets. He’s good with people, and he’s been good with the kids he’s met. He has met a few other large dogs and has done well with them. We haven’t introduced him to smaller dogs yet. He loves stuffie toys, and is a playful, happy boy. He’s short, but he’s 60 lbs bc he’s thick. We think he’s about 3 years old. He will be at our adoption fair on Saturday, he’ll make your day!

Sandy is available for adoption 🤗 She’s a 1 year old, 19 lbs pug/chi/min pin (?) looking mix. She’s sooo sweet and gentle. She is very shy at first but eventually comes out of her shell. She is very nervous around men, so they need to approach her slowly. Sandy is good with kids and women (and men once she warms up, but still is pretty shy around them). She is house trained, curious, and walks well on leash. This is Bruno and he needs our help or he’s shelte This is Bruno and he needs our help or he’s shelter bound! He only has until the weekend until he’s brought to the shelter (and we all know it’s not an ideal time for any dog, let alone a large dog) to enter the shelter system. Bruno is a sweetie! He’s only 1 year and 2 months old. He’s 70 lbs of love. He is great with women, men and kids (currently lives with special needs children and is great with them). He also good with cats. He is good with dogs, though the dogs he lives with have been “teaching” him food aggression around other dogs, but when foods not around he’s fine with other dogs. He currently lives with a large dog and a chihuahua - they pick on him but he’s ok with them. Bruno is house trained. He’s high energy and enjoys morning runs, so is ideal for an active household. If we can’t find a *committed long term* foster for him, we cannot help him. You’d literally be saving a life by fostering Bruno. Super cute and silly Griffin is ready for adoption Super cute and silly Griffin is ready for adoption! He’s a Pug/Brussels Griffon mix and 16 lbs. They say he’s 5, though he acts so much like a puppy it’s hard to believe. He’s a goofy, playful pup who loves playing with his toys, following his human around, and loves a good snuggle with you on the couch. He’s suuuuper friendly! Great with all people, kids and other dogs. He seems house trained, but will mark occasionally in a new place (maybe just if other dogs are there…?). He is crate trained. He’s chill in the home for the most part, but definitely has his puppy energy, too. He loved walks, and would be a good jogging or hiking buddy too! This is the tough part of rescue 💔 These photos an This is the tough part of rescue 💔 These photos and videos were taken in the 36 hours we had with beautiful Katrina. We got a call from the shelter that Katrina was brought in by a neighbor in bad condition & that they would be putting her down immediately. Katrina’s owner passed away some time ago & his landlord just threw Katrina into the street. We rushed to the shelter to get her - no animals deserves to die alone in a cold, scary shelter, especially after all she just endured. She was only 3 lbs, had terrible eye infections and wouldn’t eat - we needed to know if she had a fighting chance. We rushed her to the vet. She had kidney disease, a very high thyroid, dehydrated, emaciated, either a UTI or bladder infection & a high white blood cell count indicative of another infection. The doctor told us she wasn’t sure whether she would respond to treatment or not, but we had to try. We put her on fluids, got her on antibiotics, eye medication, thyroid meds. we had an appetite stimulant, and anti-nausea meds to try to get her to eat and syringe fed her. She gave us a glimmer of hope the next day, she ate and drank a tiny bit only once - but it was progress. By the 2nd morning she was declining rapidly. Her body was as essentially lifeless, and she was making it clear to us she was ready to go. We’re rushed her to the vet again, who let us know her little body was not responding to treatment and that we needed to let her go 💔 We’re so happy we got to give Katrina all of the love and cuddles in her last couple of days. She loooved being held and petted, using whatever energy she had to purr the whole time. No animal deserves to pass alone, and we’re truly blessed we got to love Katrina and be with her when it was time. Katrina’s couple days with us had a profound impact on us. We loved her very much and will never forget her. Her hospital bill and cremation bill total $910.89. It not money we have. But we couldn’t let her go through this alone. Presley is an adorable senior who has been waiting Presley is an adorable senior who has been waiting patiently for his forever home. Poor Presley was adopted from us years ago, only to find himself back with us when his adopter passed away 💔 Presley is a 10 year old Maltipoo and about 20 lbs. Presley needs a dog savvy and kid free home, and ideally would be the only pet. He does fine with other dogs out and about, but gets jealous in the home when other animals receive the attention he wants. He does have some behavior issues - he’s like a teenager that doesn’t want to be told what to do! He is a sweetie and will come to you when he wants pets and cuddles, but also likes his alone time. He gives you signs when he doesn’t want something to be happening, so once you learn these signs it’s quite easy to know when to give him his space. But trust us, he is a master cuddler when hes feeling up for it! Let us know if you’re interested in giving this cutie patootie his forever home 💖 #maltipoo #adoptaseniordog
